The Area
Mmatsebe is a privately-owned, unfenced and wild piece of land within Khwai. The 25-hectares of bush offers a secluded spot where you'll find Mmatsebe Tented Camp. Because it usually plays host to only 18 guests, we're extending the camp with a mobile tented setup we're calling "Mbudi Village".

Khwai shares borders with Chobe National Park, Savuti, and Moremi Game Reserve. Mmatsebe is located 30 minutes’ drive from North Gate Moremi Game Reserve and Khwai airstrip. As Botswana goes, Khwai is pretty iconic - an exquisite piece of the Okovango Delta that is teeming with diverse birdlife, wildlife and views that are *chef's kiss* ​
Mmatsebe Camp
MmaTsebe Tented Camp is an authentic tented bushcamp carefully positioned within an ancient riverine forest along the Mbudi River.

We'll be making use of the camp's dining and lounging space for all things relaxing, eating and boogie-ing. The camp includes a small pool, lounges, wifi and is solar powered.
Mbudi Village
Made up of tents, loos with a view and bucket showers. The village will have a central fire for late night chats, and a common lounge for chilling.

Although limited for charging phones etc, there will be power in the lounge area.
​
The village is a short walk along the river to get to Mmatsebe main camp - where most festivities will be happening.
